Derek was buying a newspaper in a small store when a man entered the store with a gun. He told the clerk to give him all the store’s money. ReplyDeleteDerek tried to disarm the thief, actually he did It, He shouldn`t have done that because It`s very dangerous some people would have been hurt, in this kind of situation we need to be calm and quiet.
What could have happened?
I am not sure What could happened in a moment like this, It`s an unpredictable situation some body cold have died.
What would you have done if you have been there?
Idon`t know, I suppose I would have been quite and very nervous, but, for sure I will never attack him. If you keep silence yourself and a relaxing attitude the person won`t felling under pressure.

ReplyDeleteIn Venezuela, the tip is an expression of courtesy given for what we consider has been good service, but we shouldn’t think that is an obligation. if you don’t feel you have been attended very well, you don’t have to leave any tip.
Which subjects are taboo in general conversation?
Politics, religion and sex are three subjects very sensitive because people have diferent opinion about that. Usually in my country people avoid these subjects because are considered taboo to start a conversation with strangers.
Is it very important to be punctual?
It's important but it's very common that people do not arrive on time. I think it is part of our culture.

Derek and the clerk could have been shoted by the thief. Fortunately they had luck

I think in this case I wouldn't have reacted in the same way Derek did, because is a dangerous situation and the best is stay calm.
